Payment

Payment can be made using credit cards or echecks via Paypal or a mailed paper check. If you don't have a Paypal account, you can easily set one up or proceed with a one time credit card payment without one.
Echecks may delay delivery until Paypal has confirmed payment.
Contact us if you'd like to mail in a paper check (US banks only).
Prices shown are in US dollars. International orders will be converted to local currency according to the terms of your Paypal agreement. We can only accept Paypal for international orders.

Delivery

Basic

Beta Blogger Basic is packaged in a convenient zip file. Soon after your payment is confirmed we'll email you either a link to download the file or the file as an attachment. The zip file will contain the following:

the Beta Blogger application in .olp format [includes all necessary pages & javascript files].

2 css files in .css format.

1 javascript file (unique to your web site).

a user manual that will guide you through installation, set up and blogging.

Commenting feature

On request, we'll set up and email you your personal Google id and password which will allow you to delete any undesirable comments left on your site. We suggest you log in and change the password as soon as you can.

Premium

We'll build a custom blog for Premium customers based on the info provided in the Notes field of the order form and on our own review of the site entered in the "your site" field.
You can download the Basic package and get started creating your blog right away. Once it's installed, we'll review your site and create a custom css file based on preferences you communicate to us and our site review. We'll email you the custom css file so all you have to do to activate it is replace the original one you used with the custom one in your documents gallery.

Custom

For purchasers of the Custom package, we ask that you complete our site survey form to give us a clearer idea of how you'd like your site to look. As soon as we receive the form, we'll start designing 2 or 3 options which we'll submit for your review.
Based on your input, we'll finalize the design and send you the complete package-generally within 1 week of receiving the site survey form.
Please note the Custom package only includes the pages needed for your blog and STYLE changes and supporting header/background and navigation images for the rest of your site. It doesn't include changes to content or layouts on existing pages of your site or new pages that are not part of the blog. To ensure a consistent look, you are free to use a blank blog page template to recreate your other pages.
Please contact us for a quote if you want us to rebuild your complete site for you.

Upgrades

You can upgrade at anytime from Beta Blogger Basic to either the Premium or Custom options by revisiting this site and placing your order. We'll make a link to the necessary files available as soon as they are completed.

Set up

Once you've downloaded the zip file and extracted all files in it to your hard drive, you'll see the following components:

• User manual text file
• Application - .olp file
• Javascript - 1 file named "arrays17.js"
• CSS - 2 files

• Install the .olp file AS A SOLUTION by clicking "Install solution" and navigating to the location of the .olp file.
• Upload the javascript file to your documents gallery
• Select the appropriate css file (one file ONLY!) and upload it to your documents gallery. You can choose from:
  • 780px
  • OR 980px

[For 100% width sites, use the 980px width.] You're now ready to set up your categories, months, pages and start blogging! See the instructions within the application or the user manual for full details.

The legal-eze

Your confirmed payment for and/or download of Beta Blogger Basic, Premium or Custom or any of our custom applications/designs ("the software") from Webbrewers.com ("the developer") grants you the status of a qualified purchaser ("the customer") and implies your acceptance of the following terms:
1. License Grants
(a) The customer is entitled to use the software on ANY ONE WEBSITE. It can be transferred to but not duplicated on another website at any time.
(b)The customer is entitled to install the software multiple times on one website, and use each installation for any purpose as they see fit.
(c)At their own risk, the customer may change, adapt or customize the software. The developer cannot be held responsible for any unpredictable effects or malfunctions this causes.
(d) The customer's license rights under this Agreement are non-exclusive and non-transferable.
(e) Custom designs and components (css code, images etc) may be used multiple times on any web site or project, but are governed by the use restrictions in 2 a and b below.
2. Restrictions
(a) The customer may not sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software itself as a standalone product or as part of a web design project performed for 3rd parties.
(b) The customer may not distribute the Software to any third parties.
(c) Each Beta Blogger package contains one instance of the commenting feature. Multiple installations of the software on different sites will result in the same comments appearing on all sites it is installed on.
(d)The developer reserves the right to change any specifications of the software as deemed necessary. The customer will receive updates to the software if any changes materially affect it's performance at the sole discretion of the developer.
3. Recourse
(a) The developer reserves the right to disable the hosted commenting feature on any site found to be in violation of these terms.
4. Disclaimer of Warranty
(a)THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE IS WITH THE CUSTOMER, WHO AGREES IT IS USED AT THEIR OWN RISK.
(b)The customer acknowledges the software is dependent on the Microsoft Office Live Small Business platform and that the developer has no control over, and cannot be held liable for, any interruptions in service, temporary or permanent, or changes in service incurred as a result of that dependency.
